Working Together to Bridge the Gap

RFEC is proud to work with a variety of partners in our effort to bridge the gap from farm to table.
From supporting local producers and entrepreneurs by sourcing their products, providing foodservice professionals with fresh, local food options, developing retail outlets within food deserts throughout the region, or growing our Farm to School program, RFEC is building a strong network of valued partners.
RFEC is a social enterprise of Fayette County Community Action Agency and supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA).

RFEC partners with an elite network of producers and entrepreneurs to source local products, including farm fresh produce, dairy products and meats, prepared foods, homemade treats, handmade crafts and more.

Farm to School

Foodservice

RFEC works with a number of foodservice professionals to connect consumers and patrons with fresh, local food options. In fact, we now help provide lunch at the William S. Moorhead Federal Building, Pittsburgh Federal Courthouse and Liberty Center, all located in Pittsburgh, PA. 

Retail

RFEC continues developing retail outlets within food deserts throughout the region. Additionally, we have fresh lamb, pork, poultry and grass fed beef available for purchase at our online store. Click here to purchase.
